What do we do
Our approach to coaching is engaged and interactive, and aimed at identifying and transmuting the unhealed material that hinders growth. We use a wide variety of frameworks to uncover blind spots contributing to power struggles, inadequate communication, and other sources of dysfunction.
What to expect
Coaching clients experience feeling seen and heard, are empowered with new tools for understanding themselves and how they relate to their environment, and develop skills for greater self-awareness, self-regulation, and high-quality communication. This creates space for them to be more curious, compassionate, and courageous at work (and at home.) Individual coaching is often an adjunct to our work with groups, helping each participant better understand their contributions to collective dynamics.

“Coherence” (forming a unified whole) is achieved through practices of “thinking together.” Organizational culture is a set of shared beliefs, values, and symbols that is transmitted through common experiences and language. We create and facilitate spaces for the co-creation and discovery of shared meaning and purpose, aligning individuals and teams towards organizational effectiveness and resilience. Common tools and methods for everyday practices such as decision-making, shared norms around learning, and best practices emerge from this work and create an environment of unity - what we call “rowing the same boat in the same direction.”

while we sometimes work with individual contributors and line managers, much of our work in this area is leadership training. In addition to the mental models that inform our coaching practice, we emphasize methods for effectively giving and receiving feedback, leading effective meetings, engaging and motivating team members, planning and executing projects, and developing practices that foster psychological safety in teams. The goal of this work is to dramatically increase the quality of ideas and implement deep organizational transformation as well as more ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.

All of our internal and individual work culminates in an organization’s ability to deliver on its purpose. Here we work with leaders to implement common tools and frameworks with their teams. We facilitate and support strategic ideation, planning, and execution. We provide unique change management methods and lead change management initiatives, such as post-merger integrations and significant internal transformations. Outcomes of our work include achievement of financial objectives, demonstration of organizational agility and resilience, and employee attraction, engagement and retention.
